Awesome Eric is a fatcat, no one can deny it.
A smartcat. This site is a gold mine not close to being monetized to its potential.

"Erik Allebest.... is a religious person and an active mormon!"
YEah, that's credibility.
It appears the page was created by someone who worked there before:

Interesting reading of all the angles of chess.com
processing. processing.processing.processing. processing.processing.processing. processing.processing...

the site says only 5 % of the chess.com forum content is about chess
that's quite pessimistic view, I would say it is at least 20 %
the topics are > 50 % chess related but the trollism starts inside the threads, if you have a look at the postings, I would say < 30 % really chess related
and the thing with the rage comments: fully agreed. I sometimes think when reading them, that if ever an official site sees the profile comments on chess.com, they label chess.com as adult only site
Always been amazed that the nasty words stay in the profiles for years. I mean, if I am the player and somebody posts this in my profile, I erase it the same day. Then again, chess.com could erase it (or do a software that erases it automatically or not allowing it at all or whatever). But nothing happened..
Now there are millions of profiles on chess.com with adult language. You do not get rid of this problem anymore. And sooner or later this will cause a big problem for chess.com
I'm just wondering why Robert decided to create a forum for this when he could of sent a link to staff in a PM.

Well if everybody did that we wouldn't have half as much stuff to read😀

what many people probably do not know: under settings you can change this way that only friends can leave notes in your profile
When playing bullet you get many rage comments - the adrenalin flow, you know..
It was one of the first things, I changed over here.

Honestly what I think that is, are people who aren't tech savvy. They don't even realize they have a homepage or what notes are. Maybe they see them, but don't realize others can read them, or that they can be deleted.
I've met a few people like this. I asked them why they didn't delete abusive notes and they didn't know what I was talking about
A lame attempt to stir up an old argument which both Erik and David most likely put behind themselves long ago. Someone is watching too many soap operas.
These are the days of our lives on cc.
LMAO..
