What’s the difference between blitz bullet and rapid raided games?

It was my understanding that a blitz game was a game between five and 14 minutes. However when I started a game with a 10 minute clock for each player, it affected my rapid rating not my blood rating. What Is the difference between these three types of games?

As I understand it, Bullet is 2 minutes or less, Blitz is 2-5 minutes, and Rapid is 10 minutes or more. I might be wrong though

So, what would >5 and <10 be classified as?

That answer looks incorrect for multiple reasons, including the time gap you noted. While the support webpage I posted the link to answers the OP’s question, it is vague with respect to how a 3 min time control is classified, which is probably blitz. Support’s explanation also adds the element of taking time increments into account when necessary.

Edit: The wording is vague, but the table clearly says 3|0 is blitz.

It’s not just a matter of the time increment consideration being missing. The support page says: Bullet rating - For games under 3 minutes. I never play quick games, so I do not know those classifications from firsthand experience.
