When we type, do we use capitals for the Black and White pieces?

It depends on how I feel.
The two players are conventionally indicated as Black and White, uppercase.
black pieces, a black bishop, a white knight are lowercase.
When we are typing sentences what do you do? Do you give Black and White uppercase letters? Or do you give black and white lowercase letters?
