Which Chess book should I get?

tbh i think you should watch videos than books as they are easier to understand and show basic principles that everyone should know
Ah I see, but this is my one package in maybe a year... so...

well I only read intense chess books....
Lol I’m good with intense I just need something that’s going to keep my attention, which I’m sure most will.

u changed ur status o_0

dvortskeys endgame manual LOL
im actually looking through some of it on chessable but the book is for grandmasters but im only looking at the basics.

Silmans complete endgame course.
You can get the free pdf online
Can you ?
Just looked on ebay, it ain't cheap, do you have a link for that pdf ?
Lol PDFs are good considering I can’t even afford a membership 😂 but he will have to pm since I don’t think you can advertise stuff on here

I’d prefer it not to be about endgames lol although I see that’s what most people are suggesting

recommendation:
How to be a candidate master (Alex dunne)
despite being published in the 1980s it's very instructive. He devotes much more time than other books on the psychological aspects of chess. And yes, I have that book. In the introduction he says: "This is a book about winning." And it did win over me.

This is my first book so I don’t want it to be 200 pages of end games... no offense but I don’t find that enjoyable so I need to force my self to do it, this book is for me to enjoy but learn a ton. Maybe middle game strategies?
throw out some names, nothing crazy expensive and something that I could order on Amazon (not to big either cuz I’ll be shipping it overseas)
