Which is better: Lurking or talking?

We all know the 2 types of forum crazies: Lurkers and Talkers. Which one are you?

I'm surely a "talker" but on a few forum threads I "lurk" but don't comment because I don't want to follow that thread (usually because the topic is inevitably "troll-caliber" and only a matter of time before the topic derails from the topic conversation). The few times I "lurk" I may laugh at a post or two, but most of the time I am 100% a "talker."
