Yeah, Hikaru slowly climbed from number 2 to number 3. Logical to say he's the best.
Magnus uses alphazero to cheat while Hikaru stockfish 13. Magnus is best

Currently definitely Magnus, look at the FIDE rankings for further proof, for the best player ever you can make a case for Kasparov in his prime, but right now, it is Magnus.

Exactly. Also, each player had different type of competition. Before engines, someone with good prep like Kasparov could get devastating attacks out of the opening. With engine prep, we often get to endgames straight from prep, where Magnus shines.
