I still don't the definition of famous was discussed enough and compared to the context of the OP. I think some of the candidates were, infamous, notorious, perhaps "well known, in certain circles" , but I still feel a truly worldly famous person, has yet to materialize....
They don't have to be worldly famous, just famous on chess.com; so, I nominate any of the staff, or the mods, or even Eric. After all, they do a lot of work so all the children of the world can play.
