I find pretty irrelevant who is Phoenix, because he doesn't play here (blitz and bullet doesn't count).

By that logic, it also means that Nakamura doesn´t play on ICC.

naka has no real rating yet

He's short on a few games sure, but he's not going to play alot because top players dont want to many extra games out. Part of the incentive of having an incognito account...

I watched Naka play here on Chess.com. He played Blitz and IMHO he's just as good as Phoenix.

UFGM sightings in the Vancouver-United States area

an inteview with John Fish, NASA

A special object was sighted several times in the Vancouver-United States area. NASA classified this object as an Unidentified Flying GM ( UFGM ). John Fish, Head of Research at the Extra-Terrestrial Artifical Intelligence unit of NASA explains:

John Fish - "The spots of the sightings are scarcely scattered all around the United States but they show a high density around the city of Vancouver in Canada. The object is travelling at high altitude and at relativistic speeds. For its high flying speed and altitude the object received the codename 'Phoenix'. It emits electromagnetic radiation which interacts with internet networking systems in an interesting way: it influences those systems in such a way that it makes at certain chess servers appear that a grandmaster of supernatural playing strength is playing online games. Surprisingly the tactics performance of the same phenomenon is way below that of so called bullet games."

What do we know about the characteristics of the object?

John Fish – "The object is very hot – this may explain why young girls at chess servers open accounts in which they confess falling in love with UFGM Phoenix - probably consists of high energy quark-gluon plasma. There has been several experiments made in the big hadron collider at CERN to reproduce the phenomenon and calculations show that the mass of the object should be around 80 kilograms which shows remarkable correspondence to the weight of a possible human chess grandmaster."

Is there any basis to believe that the object is of extra-terrestrial origin?

John Fish – "We have every reason to believe this. Besides the extraordinary physical properties of the object which point to extra-terrestrial origin in themselves it has to be noted that humanity has not been able to solve the game of chess because the problem is solvable only in exponential time and due to the size of the problem the full solution may require a quantum supercomputer, yet UFGM Phoenix plays such a perfect game which is only possible for someone in possession of the full solution. On the other hand developed alien civilazations tend to be very conservative in interacting with civilazations in their early development phase: they don't want to interfere with their evolution – they only want to observe it. Part of this that they don't reveal themselves. This is why UFGM Phoenix is so keen on his privacy: he does not provide any real identity details for the profile under which he plays. The only detail he provides is a location which exactly matches that of the sightings."

What practical implications does UFGM Phoenix have for scientific research?

John Fish – "The phenomenon has already given a great impetus to scientific research. When we try to make sense of how this object can exist we have to rethink what we know about relativity theory and quantum mechanincs. It can prove that wormholes and paralel universes are not just pure mind constructs but they do exist in reality. This may ultimately lead to formulating the TOE ( Theory of Everything ) but we may also end up having the TON ( Theory of Nothing )."

John Fish, thank you.

Soon I will reveal who I think it is. I`m afraid that my life will be in danger if I`m right. The mystery "man" could actually be a woman--a very powerful woman. And I can`t reveal my sources.

HAHAHAA oh man....

Hmm... That's serious buisiness...

But on a serious side I still hold to my claim that GM Phoenix is stronger than either of those. Or any women.

chess.com must know who it is - otherwise they wouldn't have the GM title - they're doing a good job at keeping it secret!

GM Phoenix is Justin Wong, an American Street Fighter player that goes to the Evolution tournaments...

That's based on recent sightings right?

As far as I know, there was only ONE witness. That´s not really a proof.

where is the hard evidence?

Avatar of samtoyousir

Check the above map. You're telling me one guy saw this in seven different places? That's not credible at all.
