...not forgetting the Harry Potter series of films... the train and bridge used there are still a running service, the steam train (The Jacobite) from Fort William to Mallaig, crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct, which appears on the back of our £10 notes.

and if i'm not mistaken, Hogwarts is depicted as being on the shores of Loch Shiel...

I didn't like Restless Natives, but I saw it recently and it perhaps hasn't aged so well. For comedy TV series, worth checking out Rab C as above, but also Still Game has been a big hit. For kids there is Brave by Disney, and I quite liked Loch Ness with Ted Danson myself. There is also Highlander TV seriers/film not seen either myself.

We forgot Rob Roy (a bit in the mould of Braveheart I suppose), and Trainspotting which is certainly not to everyones taste. I really think they should be adding a flying blue car monument near the Viaduct. Kings Cross did a platform 9¾, which is always a fun stop for a photo.

I was a fan of Restless Natives, musta went to cinema about 10 times to watch it, but then i was also a big fan of Big Country, who did the soundtrack music...

How could i forget Trainspotting? Embarassed

Looking After Jo Jo was a TV mini-series that featured another strong performance by Robert Carlyle, and more recently he also featured as a well known gangster in The Wee Man

Outlander is not one i'm familiar with i'm afraid... i looked for the soundtrack music, i'm not familiar with those either, except for track #2, the Skye Boat Song.

On the road between Fort William and Mallaig you would come across this on the shore of Loch Nan Uamh, where Bonnie Prince Charlie sailed from...(you will need to zoom in to read it)

A lot of the mentioned movies/TV shows are about Scotland, its culture and show the landscape. If you want proper Scotland, best probably trying to source a documentary or nature show. BBC are good at that stuff.

I believe we will have some live boards, a link will be available over that weekend.

We've veered well off topic here now, a new topic will be set up over the next few days
