Free speech just means the government can’t arrest you for what you say. People have the right to be mad at you, even ban you from an online forum if they don’t like what you said, and they won’t be violating your free speech.

I don't see this as a nitpick at all and a very good idea.
As I've stated once here and in other threads...opinions are one thing and spamming is another. That is the basis of the title of this thread. I feel like some are just here to spam about other sites.
