what is a tiled player???
"Titled" players have an official chess title from an over-the-board organization. Grandmaster (GM) is the highest chess title one can achieve (other than World Champion if this counts, or the informal "super-GM" status of 2700+ rating).
Basically, a "titled player" is like a chess "professional" in ability.

1) Most of them aren't studying / improving anymore.
2) Most who are studying are kids i.e. goofy and energetic.

My point was NMs aren't shy nerds who study 10 hours a day and don't know how to socialize... that's what peg was saying and I disagreed. You seem to be young and I'm guessing you don't mind joking around... if I'm wrong and you're a socially awkward nerd then just say so

they're people who have titles, either granted by FIDE or another chess federation. They look like a red box with two or three letters in them, like [NM] kracker12345. They also get free Chess.com Diamond
