Why Do People Post Pictures of Themselves Here?

Something weird is going on with this one-person argument-- a mechanical failure? Does anyone else have an image of Stairway sitting at his keyboard right now with smoke coming out of his ears and sparks shooting out of his eyes?

I think I might have adhd or something and I get bored easily.  Therefore, if an idea pops in my head I go with it because it amuses me and it might possibly make someone think or contemplate the mysteries of life.  That's why I change my pic, profile and status all the time.  One thing I never do is put a picture of someone that is not me---except when I put up that one of Walt Whitman, oh and then there was the one I put of the girl playing chess in the lace up gown in a bar and I put a picture of Don Quixote fighting windmills---but all my pictures, profile changes and status changes are a form of artistic expression for me. 

I think people that don't post anything are boring but it takes all kinds to make the world go round...right?

Anybody remember when Calvin (from Calvin and Hobbes) made the Duplicator machine and churned out a clone so he'd have someone to do his homework and chores for him?  And when he returned to the room he discovered his duplicate had made more duplicates, and they were all doing things that got the original Calvin in trouble?
