Why I'm leaving Chess.com

Reservesmonkey makes for an excellent case study.
When on anti-psychotic medication it's critical not to skip a single dose and/or mix it with alcohol.
They should really replace his caregiver...
Chess.com is great. The members are great. I've had a few heated debates with some members here, and that's fine, but it's just forums posts and not a big deal. Chess games are just chess games. Games. Just Games. Let's all say this together: games. Thank you, Erik, for an amazing website and interface. Reservesmonkey: wow. You really need attention. And badly. I swore I wasn't going to post to this forum, but it's just too fun. King William, a "friend" of mine, is right. By the way, and this is NOT meant to offend anyone on this site, not one member reading this, but if something going on inside of chess.com is making you miserable - you may need to get a life and start living it. Maybe Reservesmonkey should leave. I've read a couple of his posts - silly and brooding. I've had one or two people vacation out of a game with me. So what. "Game." I've had some people be rude to me. So what. "Internet" Who cares. On the other hand, I've met some cool people such as King William, TonyGas, Queenie, etc. Had some fun "games." I'm learning. I'm having fun. But if someone says something rude or if I lose, and I do, who cares. I don't. I don't agree with most of the politics I read on here. I don't agree with almost ANY of the religious comments. I've posted forums topics about Christmas and got rude remarks. Who cares. I don't. I care about things in my local and family life. Although I don't want to see this site ever go down, if it DID (sorry Erik) life would go on. And it will go on without whatshisname.
Grow up, but first, go to yahoo.com and find a chess game there where we are not.
Or stay here. It's really not that important.
Say with me: Game.

StacyBearden is right on the money. He and I don't see eye to eye on eveything, but I enjoy his posts. I'm playing a player who uses vacation after every move. Eventually, he'll run out of vacation time and that will be that. Actually, he'll probably just make another account, but who cares?
Good riddance.
Erik, this site is great. Thank you for all your hard work and hands-on approach to everything involved.

Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you. I like yu too Stacey. and yes I agree King William is very cool.
RM your gona miss us when your gone. Lighten up. Just enjoy. You won't find a better site.
Instead of trying to convince this guy, maybe we should just ignore his cry for attention. Moreover his arguments are pretty selfish ("I don't like banners!" on a free site) and if the arguments he gives are really his principles, he won't find a better site anyway. I doubt he'll ever find a site that has no rude people, is free, has no banners, and can improve his chess more than Chess.com.
If he wants to quit online chess, it's his choice. If he thinks there's a better site out there, let him go and find out there isn't any

As for me, I say: go find a site you like. Don't stay here and complain.
-vacations: part of Chess.com if you don't like them leave
-Move: hello, move-based site. if you want them to move faster than 1/day then leave.
-If you are not happy at chess.com, good bye
You can always save your game pgns to view on chesspad whatever happens
