Your confusing greed with breaking even.
Boston is surrounded by colleges. Do you know how expensive it is to live in THAT city?.....and good luck parking. ![]()
Why is Chess.com so money hungry
No, I'm not confusing anything, I'm talking about excess of greed.
THEN, you showed up and seemingly tried to explain to us, that chess.com excess of greed would be justified by the location of their company, which is why I asked you, if that's what you were trying to say.
Who is confused now?

Isnt it the point of any company to make as much money as possible?
I am a complainer you say?
Well, I'm not so surprised you're so trash talking out of the blue, when so obviously, you don't even understand English properly (or don't really bother read what people reply to you).
And then, well, if I'm a complainer about excess of greed from chess.com, the Americans are then complainers about Pearl Harbour, etc, etc, etc.
You're ridiculous.

Maybe you should ask yourself why the word "escess" got invented, along with "abuse" and the like.
Thing is, "as much as possible" bumps into the sensible idea that "possible" doesn't mean, for an example, killing people or any such horrible thing.
Of course chess.com is not killing anyone. But hey, is killing people the only unacceptable thing a company can do in order to make more money?
Of course not.
Law and morality are just not the same thing, and everybody knows when one is doing wrong.
Cheating on your spouse is legal, yet universally seen as wrong. For an example.
"Pearl Harbor"???
Look, if you in turn, don't understand English, I've got nothing more to tell you. Have a good night and bye.

Im still stuck on Pearl Harbor.
What exactly is the site doing that is so immoral...greedy...etc? Im genuinely curious.
With your 2100 chess rating, you having trouble making a decent living in the park?
Maybe you should of listened to your parents and went to college.
My general rule is that, anyone who posts improperly in other people's threads,....get blocked for my threads. That's why I'm not complaining about chess.com's prices. I get paid a LOT of money to block a lot of people. ![]()
Who said anything about justifying their existence?
