Why is it SO HARD to type a simple GG after a good game?

I believe that it depends on your mood to chat. Sometimes even a simple "gg" is too much chat for that particular day. I really dont think it has anything to do with somebody being rude or insensitive. If somebody sends me a "gg" I always respond back with the same, even if they destroyed me, or I beat them badly. But this is an interesting topic that you have brought up. 

 The problem is saying GG could also be interpreted as a mockery, especially with the advent of multiplayer games these last decade or so, where saying "GG" is a way to taunt your opponent - the all too easy GG EZ comes to mind. Now imagine your opponent just blundered a major piece or their queen, or walked into forced mate, and you say GG ... they could interpret it that way and think Im just trying to taunt them. So I normally stay silent in my games.

I am not gonna play the humility game, most i would is say, we all suck, some far more than others. And for those that suck far more than most, why have an ego?

I am not even kidding , what's the point of having an ego about something as dumb as gg if you are weak? sounds like an exhausting way of existing.

where you born an ahole or was this some a talent you developed? what does this have to do with anything? i can be 600 pounds with an eyepatch ,schizophrenia and 5 divorces, what does any of this have to do with chess or saying gg after a game, or being petty enough to say gg or not?

gg is definintely a king thing to do and there is nothing wrong with it.

But instead of writing something like this, you chose to say something else. You knew very well what you were doing just coming to the topic to insult a low rated player. And now you are trying to save face saying "we all suck anyways lolz". 

I dont know what is it about the 2000 ELO players on this site that always enjoy coming down and insulting amateur players for no reason at all? 

You dont see the top GMs coming to the forums to troll amateurs who just play the game for fun, right? Is it because your FIDE rating, according to FIDE, is not even 2000? Or because your Master title is practically nothing compared to the upper titles and bigger tournaments held for the real skillful players in chess? What is it that makes some of you guys come here and taunt 1000 elo players? Are you mad you never got to a high FIDE rating? Do you have any other skills besides chess? Other than listening to KMFDM which I enjoy too, I mean.
