People most likely don't wanna resign is because the other player/bot will win.
Why people refuse to resign?
The best reason to not resign is the fact that half of all chess players are below average. There is a very good chance the non resigning player will go on to draw, or even win the game. The resigning player, however, will lose 100% of the games he resigns.

id say if you really want to, you can start resigning at around 1900 because people then typically know how to convert

i played a 2200 that hung all his pieces for no reason after losing 1, he wasrefusing to resign
