I agree.  Another thing that really twists my bollucks is the number of nice, caring folks there are here on Chess.com.  It's my god-given right to hate you, even if I win and you graciously congratulate me on a match well played.  Don't waste my time..I already know how awesome I am...I invented awesome!  If I want encouragement, I will go to group therapy.

Most of my opponents don't send money to me...seriously...

I am usually against whiners who complain about their opponents not resigning. However,I think TheGrobe has presented a compelling case. In the particular situation he describes, the failure of his opponents to resign can be seen as nothing less (or more) than pure obnoxiousness.

I agree, and I would also like to add that I am baking ginersnaps right now, and they smell delicious.

I've been in a losing position in a few of my games for a number of weeks now, and despite my slowing my game play to the point where I'm taking the maximum allotted time and maximizing my use of vacation, my opponents simply refuse to resign out of frustration.  A couple of my opponents have even had the audacity to begin using conditional moves against me.  The nerve!

All I ask is that they recognize my superior will to win at any cost, and afford me the courtesy of resigning these games.

Wasting my time like this is the height of rudeness.

Thankfully I'm not winning a game against you right now, because having been shown the error of my ways, I would feel compelled to resign posthaste, no matter the hopelessness of your position.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not hoping for a timeout by secretly wishing them ill or otherwise indisposed or even hoping that they shuffle off this mortal coil -- winning like that simply wouldn't be honourable.  All I ask is that they recognize my superior will to win at any cost, and afford me the courtesy of resigning these games.

I see what you did there.

Yes!!! I also share the same feelings. Thank God! At least one person in this world understands my feelings. I normally play live standard chess (30 0) and face these kinds of rudeness -  behaviours.

When I am very sure that I completely lost a game, when say I have 27 minutes remaining, I will simply engage in some other business and wait until my opponent resigns out of frustration. But, you won't believe, there are very rude people out there who will wait all the 27 minutes to make me time out.

"All I ask is that they recognize my superior will to win at any cost, and afford me the courtesy of resigning these games.

Wasting my time like this is the height of rudeness."  (Yes exactly what The Grobe said)

Yes, these people make me frustrated even though I thought that I will be able to frustrate them. So, that is breach of conduct. Also, they are simply wasting their precious time also; not being able to play another game or do any other thing properly as I might come back any time (They can't be sure. Right?) Oh! that is global waste of time (1 national waste of time + 1 national waste of time).

Otherwise, they should have told me in the beginning itself, that these tactics won't work with them. Otherwise, how can I know? Oh come on, we are all human beings; we should respect and be courteous to our planet mates (I exclude animals, birds, insects etc.). I am losing belief in humanity and culture of people in the world. I feel depressed. Somebody give me a counseling!

(Or on a second thought, I think I should play 140 0 or play online chess. But, in online chess also, people like some opponents of grobe harass him. Oh God! where could I hide? This is really a bad world; very bad)
