Should you gain more elo on a win streak?

I think that when you are on a win streak you should gain more elo each win. I don't think it would be too invasive. I think it could help players with low elo who are playing above their rating (I recall being stuck below 800 elo while playing many games like a 1300). I would like to know your opinions on whether this seems like a good idea. Thank you

It would destroy the rating system. This glicko rating system has been worked by a serious mathematician. It's not just some random thing to be changed at will.

And by the way, playing as 1300 as 800 rated? I have multiple games where it says I am playing beyond 2 000 level. I had a game where the opponent lost in below 15 moves, made 2 or 3 blunders and chess.com said he played like 1 200 rated player, which is laughable.

Don' t take those estimations too seriously, it is good fun and all, but rating estimation is at best a good diverson, and far from a serious tool.

This is a wonderful idea, JV4167.

I don't like this. Hikaru would be 5000 rated lol

As long as you're OK with losing more points while on a losing streak.

No because the matchmaking is random.

If anything it should be just the opposite so let's leave it where it is. Glicko is already more volatile than ELO and there are no ELO ratings here.
