Yo it's is soo bad I just lust a total of 800 points,I was 2500 now I am 1700
Yeah I had a puzzle rating of 3168 and lost about 900 points due to the bug. (then did three free puzzles). Or is it not a bug?

Typical Chess.com. Making drastic changes and not bothering to inform us about them. The new algorithms that they have introduced are highly unlikely to be an improvement. It is just a pretence to guillotine high ratings periodically to make them appear more realistic. There are still a lot of fairly easy puzzles that have very high ratings and very high pass rates.
My rating was reduced from 3700 to 2200. I am now gaining +2 to +4 for each correct puzzle, compared with +5 before, and losing -8 instead of -24 for each failure. Puzzles peak out at about 2900, so it might now be impossible to get a higher grade.

Change your puzzle Difficulty to Hard or Extra Hard and you'll tend to get more points and lose less on a miss. It will be hard to get extremely high ratings as it's not possible to get rating on puzzles somewhere around 400-500 lower than the solver's rating, similar to how Gane ratings work on a large rating gap.
