You could start your account at 2,000 elo before?

Yeah there was an option to start as an "Expert" when it asked you what level you were and it would set you at 2000 but they removed it
I seen a bigginer person, but his rating is higher then me . 2000 is his rating.

I recently learned that previously, you could start your account elo at 2,000 on chess.com. However, the most advanced rating you can start with is 1600. Does anyone know why this is? I have been playing chess.com since 2020, but I don't think I have ever seen that option before.
