Your favorite board colors and pieces style?

Dude, why does even a page like this exist?  Board and pieces are meant to choose your own board. 4 real this page is just stupid.

I use Green/Neo. Not because that's the default, I just like the way it looks.

This is what I've been using recently.

Pieces: Glass

Board: Icy Sea

That is a nice board, but try out the glass pieces with the metal board, it looks really cool. and for an extra bit of flair, try setting the piece movement style to arcade, and it looks amazing

I'm loving this thread, so many different players with so many different styles and looks.  Some I like, some I don't, but everyone seeing Chess the way they like it is so nice 😁

no animation is very helpful for bullet & puzzle battle.

I still didn’t get why a page like this exist. Board and police’s are meant to choose your own board. Not the streamers or other peoples.

This thread isn't to convince people to change their pieces or board, it's to explore everyone's personal style and suggest cool combinations.

I like real 3d

I deleted mine but want to re add. I do like seeing what people use. It probably won’t change my board but it is still fun to see. It’s checker board and the (ice maybe) blue pieces. So it is easier to see, nothing blends in.

figured id update this. ive stuck to one color theme for a while now, haha. might change it soon again but i like what i have now.

my variants board is also very purple, but a bit more customized. i love the several options of customization over there, wish the play server had the same options.

I have converted. Real 3d and Dark Wood are the way to go

One theme I sort of dig is the

Board - Stone

It won me over surprisingly quick.
