My most interesting encounter in chess was in the early 80s when as my chess club secretary I organised a blindfold simultaneous chess display with International Master Paul Littlewood who took on 16 of shropshire counties best the games and photos were published in the magazine chess and bridge which was great for our club, everyone had a fascinating evening Paul Littlewood was a lovely guy who signed autographs at the end of the event and awarded a book prize to his only loss!
