I realize that some of these may be too easy for you, and I will post more difficult ones when I get better at composition.
Attempts at Composition
[COMMENT DELETED] (Didn't notice this was in Endgame Study, so my problem wasn't really appropriate.)
In the third problem, what's Black's drawing line after 2. Bxe6? (I have high hopes of eventually promoting White's b pawn.)
Whoops! Fritz misled me! I checked with Mr.Nalimov, and it is a win for white! I edited the puzzle accordingly...and the edit features some nice nuances! However, it is now white to draw. I apologize to the cutthroats.
The last one tricked my computer at 32 ply...I'm still wondering if the bishop moves are ony moves though...
But endgames are funner!...
Anyways, if a draw was the objective, Black could play Qg4 on move 1
No, because he's in check.
Howvere, I don't see a White win after 1...Kf8.

Another nuance in the composition allows White to miraculously keep the g4 square!
My favorite puzzles will be posted in my blog. And, yes, these are all original, which is why they suck...
Today's puzzle:
The variations are more interesting than the solutions for this one.
3. g8Q Bxg8
4. Bxg8 a2
5. f6 b3
6. Bxb3 Stalemate
3. Kd2 allows Black to queen with check
This is the best puzzle here though, very deep!
Thanks. I can't do the g8Q variation in the blog, which only lets me do 2 variations. I did Kd1 variation there. Other variations are in my blog too. Thanks for the compliments AKAL1.
I created this thread for regular players who would like to show their attempts at chess composition. Much of my work so far has been terrible, and also in the field of endgame studies, so I put my work (is it work?) in this forum. Let me know what you guys think! Also, composer that would like to improve on my ideas, and create twin problems: please, please let me see them!
1. Black to play, and draw.
