That book helped me understand how to coordinate pieces. I really feel like I learned more about chess from that book than I did from anyother. I want something like what you are describing too.

Years ago I read a book called Bobby Fischer Teaches Chess which had various simple endgames in it, in a "programmed learning" format were they would present the chess puzzle and you had to draw the lines, then turn page and it would show the correct answer.
20 years later I'm wondering is there something like that online? Goes though the basic endgames (and when i mean basic i mean basic like K,Q vs K) , and poses the "whats the correct move here?"?
