Break the fortress and prove the grandmaster wrong?

Can White win from the position above? He has better pawn structure and better pieces, but Black has a fortress. Grandmaster Solts in "100 Chessmaster secrets" book states that there is no entry point in the starting position, therefore White's efforts are completely pointless, which the course fo the game confirmed. Intuitively it feels like there should be some ways to put more pressure on Black, or maybe even break through with a pawn sacrifice. But how? I tried a couple of ways in analysis, but all in all - did not get very far.

It is possible by using a certian type of math to prove weather a certian chess set up is possible, so if he says that it's not possible I trust that it is impossible to win. Their's still might be the possibility of a stalemate though, I however don't know if this is possible.

Neither the moves in the game, nor the annotator ever touched upon the possibility of a pawn sacrifice in one way or another. I thought for an annotator that was a bit misleading to say that since b8 and b7 are covered, then "that's it, dead draw, game over."
