Can we promote to knight to prevent the check?

Because the pawn can't promote on d6. It promotes on e8 and you only get 1 move at a time.

1500 blitz, can't be serious?

you're in check. you need to move your king, or block the check. in this case, you can't block the check so you can only move your king. and e8=N is not moving your king.

me and my mom played a game and it was endgame I moved my pawn to the end and she checked me with her queen. is this legal pawn promotion
