Checkmate crediting

I've been trying to unlock the killer pieces achievements. I've got rook and queen already and I just finished a game where my bishop checkmated the enemy king. However it was delivered by moving my rook out the way while still blocking the escape route.
my pieces: Qd3, Rb3, Be5
enemy: Ka2
here the sequence: Rb2+, Ka1, Rd2 (opening the bishop line delivering mate).
Does discovery checkmate credits goes to the one moving out the way or the one sniping? I think I know the answer since I didn't unlock killer bishop lol.
imagine playing blindfolded and totally forgot about a possible discovery check then your front piece is attacked so you had to move it to a safer square. then they announced gg 😅😂
