the only way to make a checkmate is with 2 bishop, it's imposible with one bishop

K+B vs K+N can continue playing since checkmate is technically possible (by either side) even though it cannot be forced. If one of the two players flags then FIDE would almost automatically assess a loss (though not with While having Kf8/Ng6 while Black flags with Kh8/Bh7 since the only legal move Black has requires capturing the Knight and eliminate any chances for White to deliver checkmate) while USCF would only assess a loss if a checkmate could be forced.

Seven years have passed. We still don't know whether the OP wanted to write "bishop and knight" or not. And the thread is somehow still going on.
If it ends up to one bishop and a king left, the game would end by insignificant material however if there were two bishops, there is a checkmate you can do.
