Drill Bishop and Knight mate the edge
It takes some time to learn to manage "the system" for checkmating the king in this endgame. But learning it is not enough. There are too many variations to memorize them all. You must also learn to calculate chess moves. Don't be lazy and trust on your acquired knowledge but visualize a few moves ahead to verify that the space for your opponents king is gradually shrinking and all escape routes can be blocked.
I've been trying to complete this drill for a while, i have completed it on easier bot settings but have struggled when increasing the difficulty to max.
from this position i would move the knight to d7 and then king would go to c6 which means the bishops next move would box in the king.
But if the king goes to b7 first then the bishops next move is useless.
there is probably an easy answer to this but im pretty new at chess so havent managed to work it out yet.
Thanks for the help!
