Hmm, are you sure the example isn't to f8 or to a certain rank? You can't force your way to h8 as white.

No, I the example from the book is exactly as it is within the book. I figured there was a flaw here.
So this is from a section about the opposition and outflanking from a book. I thought that it was impossible to do this, and that's why you can't promote an a-pawn or h-pawn with a lone king, assuming the other king can get in front of it. I'm trying to figure out how to force the king to h8 if black chooses different moves.
First, the example from the book:
So here is what I'm having a problem with: 15... Kf8 looks like it purposely lets White achieve their goal.
Any help would be wonderful!
