I try to finish this drill but I can’t do it, if you can, share how you do it.

Do not worry. There is probably no one who can do that flawlessly. And it is not always possible  or possible within the 50 moves available before a pawn move must be forced to forestall a 50-move draw claim.

The general idea is simple though, it's the efficient execution that constitutes the hurdle. Use 1 knight to block the pawn before it crosses the "Troitsky line" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Two_knights_endgame) and force the opponent's king into a suitable corner with your own king and the remaining knight. At the right time remove your blockading knight to aid in the checkmate while the pawn runs to promote. It is not unusual to hand out the checkmate just after the pawn promoted to a queen!

But first reserve 20 years of study time to learn all the details, tricks and exceptions of this endgame. Most players, including GMs, never master it!
