Need help with Endgame

King are afraid about the edge and the corners. Bassically all you gotta do is oush the king to the edge of the board. after that, put a rook above the king)(

(Sorry i missend)make sure the rook is safe and the the king is in prison and then put your rook at the same level as the king and check mate

Checkmating is kanda easy all you gatta do is to look at your pieces and imagine how to checkmate it the less move you make the better
At your level, could I suggest the following:
- Try to get your king out to the middle of the board in the end game. Try to push your opponent's king to the side of the board.
- Try to keep your pawns attached to each other. During the middle game, try to avoid doubling up your pawns.
- Try to keep your rooks connected (this means have them on the same rank or file).
- Get a general understanding of how you can accidentally stalemate when you're in the lead.
- Learn how to checkmate your opponent with the following combinations:
- Queen/Rook/King vs King (staircase mate/ladder mate)
- Queen/King vs King (box mate)
- Rook/King vs King (box mate)
Hallo,
I am usually pretty good in the opening and middle phases of a game (For my level), but I really suck at endgames. Especially pawn endgames. Any help or tips would be appreciated!
