So this is a human idea. So would an engine lose the position after Nx or would it be able to solve it?

wouldnt it be 150

bc 50 move rule + pawn capture + pawn push

When its KB vs K it already is a draw by insufficient material

Well the engine found it. i put the FEN in and put play vs computer.

Okay this is interesting. The analysis says -3.73 but the lines show 0.00 kinda weird

This is just a dead draw after taking. And I truly do not understand what you are trying to say

Btw this is almost winning if the black king wasn't so far away because you get this thing with bishop on h2 and the pawn on h3. Black king just too far away

Avatar of The_nail

If the king was one move closer apparently its winning

stockfish is saying 0.0?

53 ... Bd4 almost wins it, and does win after 54 Kf1 h3 (the king is locked out of h1 and has to backtrack too far to get in).

White still holds the draw with 54 f4 h3 55 Kf3 h2 56 Kg2 Bg1 57 f5 and the pawn gets pushed until it is captured.  After that White bounces the king between g2 and h1 until stalemate occurs (or the pawn is captured).
