10 openings not to play as black

This is for people who have a rapid/blitz rating less than 500. These are bad openings for black

I will show each opening that is bad (10 is bad, the lower the number the worse the opening)

10. Borg defense 1.e4 g5 Borg is like modern defense (1.e4 g6) but instead of preparing to castle it makes your king side bad. People can get your rook, because it leaves it open. Then king side castling is useless

9. Scandinavian defense. (1.e4 d5) The scandinavian usually ends up giving black bad development because white will take then to recapture you need to develop you queen then your queen will be attacked then you have to put you queen right back.

8. Philidor defense. (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d6) Makes it harder to develop your king side bishop

7. Hippo defense. (1.e4 Nh6) Allows your opponent to gain center control but protects your f pawn

6. Budapest gambit. (1.d4 Nf6 2. c4 e5) Ok, this may misplace your opponent's d pawn but then your king side knight kinda turns less useful

5. Goldsmith defense. (1.e4 h5) Your opponent gains a TON of center control. But can help with preventing 4 move checkmate.

4. King pawn's opening Ware defense (1.e4 a5) Same with goldsmith but doesn't protect or help with 4 move checkmate

3. Duras Gambit (1.e4 f5) No king safety

2. Alekhine's defense (1.e4 Nf6) It chases your knight around and might trap it

1. King pawn's opening. Barnes defense (1.e4 f6) It might get you checkmated

Ok

magipi

That is a really weird list. There are some openings there that are completely fine (like the Scandi, the Budapest, the Grob or the Philidor), mixed with some insanely bad stuff (like 1. e4 a5 or 1. e4 h5).

jonnin

Yes, this is junk, 1/2 of these are perfectly playable and fine.

Rapid

one must fully decline any gambit presented and actively not take hostage any enemy troops and perform the countergambit opening merge known as the botezcloud where one plays Ke2 and follows up the attack with Qf3, pushing aside the king since females first, and taking immediately on f7 not even waiting for black to move. Known as the botez gambit combined with bongcloud, one of the deadliest combinations in chess history.
when you have fulfilled your destiny by performing this dangerous countergambit, you will be given your indulgence towards chess mastery

Why isn't Botez gambit listed? Also, Fool's Mate is a pretty bad opening too.

Black can be fool's mated too (not in two moves but same concept).
