A very good book for medium players... later beginners through middle/more advanced.

Once one has a basic grasp of the game, I found a nice book that I think may just help get one to the next level:

"How to choose a chess move" by Andrew Soltis. GM Soltis has written many exceptional books over the years, but this one is truly destined to become a "classic" I think! It covers examples of WHAT to look for in one's next move, and offers a lot of good insight into the ways better players, esp. masters of the game, develop their ability to "see" a series of moves. Not entirely for someone who JUST started out, maybe a person 1-2 years into the game after studying and playing, but certainly one to keep on the radar of good resources, IMO.

Just FYI for all.

Good Chess, and as they say in Jamaica: "Cool Runnings - peace be da journey mon!"
