Am I a beginner or intermediate?

I've been playing like half a year now, my rating is fluctuating around 1500. I feel like i can improve, but I'm not sure about what to learn.

By my starting date; I'm a beginner.

By my rating; It seems like I'm better than that.

at this point, I'm not sure what I am and what I need to learn? rating is solely enough to tell what I'm missing at?

maybe my Insight can help, but one needs to be pro to understand and analyze this tbh

Intermediate

Given your rating of around 1500, you likely fall into the intermediate category.

Below 1,000 isn’t considered Beginner.

It is considered Novice or Provisional.

In fact, Adult Chess players quit chess below 1,000 at an alarming rate. This is why you can’t consider them beginners.

It’s because of humiliation and/or being embarrassed.
