Don't be embarrassed, beginners can improve faster than anyone else, also 627 is not beginner, I think you are a high level beginner.

Says a ^53 rated Rapid with lack of creativity for a name. Look in the mirror before you be the mirror to others.

Update: I just defeated a 1000 rated player, though my rating is still 900.

The more you play the more you improve I’ve nearly doubled my elo in a few months just from playing a few games a day, so most likely you aren’t inherently bad at chess you just need to practice and learn more! Hope this helps :)

Only if you play like the 600 rated Bots here on chess.com. I am currently playing and beating the 1400-1500 Bots, and I trust their rating more than most other ratings.

Bots are incorrectly rated.

There's about 800 million chess players in the world, and about 1,500 grandmasters. Not sure how many titled players in all. But chances are that no one on this thread is "good" at chess.

Agreed. The OP is decent relative to our level, but none of us really compare to what “good” actually is.

I too

It's all relative. You are probably "good" relative to someone who just learned how the pieces move and "bad" relative to any serious chess players.

Jerry_h

You have much to learn
