600 is defiantly a beginner but, I’m 1700 and I’m still a patzer.
Don't say “ I'm bad at chess”, say “I can be a nicer chess player”
Update: Now my Rating has now increased to 900-950's, but is plateauing a bit and I can't get past 960's. Is this normal for people who just started playing chess a year ago?
you aren't bad, you're learning. If you lose a game of chess, you didn't lose it, you simply didn't win, but maybe you will next time. Always keep trying and never give up

It depends on how long you have been playing.
I am bad a chess actually really bad my rating is 1000. I still do all of the dumb things, hang pieces, rush my moves etc.
I just want to play against another beginner... to begin with :D. I loved chess years back but I suck. How do I do this on here
I’m rookiespiedy and I am intermediate.

You can create a custom match with people rated let’s say -50 to +100 points higher than u

I'm a bad player but not as bad as when I started. Looks like you play a lot of 10 minutes or less games. You might want to try longer games. I started off playing 10 minute games and lost more than I won. I didn't start winning a few more than I lost till I went to 30 minute games..
One thing to keep in mind is, based on the chess.com stats, last time I checked more than half of the players of the several million playing here are rated under 900. Try 30 minute games you might be better than you think.

Only if you play like the 600 rated Bots here on chess.com. I am currently playing and beating the 1400-1500 Bots, and I trust their rating more than most other ratings.
