Are “intermediate” bots really bad?

I’m a total beginner at chess. I’ve been playing for a couple of months, doing a combination of rapid/blitz, playing against bots, and doing puzzles. I’m currently rated around 600, and I think this seems about right- the other players at this level are roughly as tactically aware and blunder-prone as I am.

However, when I play bots it seems like the ratings are super inflated. I can beat the 1500-1600 bots pretty regularly if I’m not using time controls, and I can beat 1200-1300 in blitz without too much trouble. Have other people found this?

Side note: I currently hover between 1700-1900 in puzzles, but I still constantly make stupid blunders in-game and miss a lot of easy tactics. Am I focusing too much on puzzles for someone who’s still at 600 blitz?
