Plenty of vinyl here including some pre Beatles. Cable is a new invention though have moved on from black and white tv to colour. Still have a passion for 50s and 60s music. I am joining as I think I qualify on every criteria

it can be whatever we want it to be, there is place to banter, you can challenge people, once we hit critical mass we can do tournaments etc

I am 58 and although I like many others played as a child I had not played for decades. I have currently be playing for about 4 months started with the 800 rating and have been fortunate enough to climb gradually to around 1000.
Just turned 34 august 4th - I definitely feel old, but am in same situation as most… have known the rules and such for a long time but have only recently (past month or so) started actually playing and wanting to improve. I’ve done most in person so far and just do lessons or puzzles online at the moment

I’m 68… trying to learn the basics and just enjoy the game without ruining it from frustration. Frankly I enjoy just playing the computer because I can’t understand the time formats and it’s always available to start & stop…?
