I am just curious about how beginners play and would like to provide specific advice for each person who asked here. Just paste your game here(it’s better to put a losing one or at least you think you have made a mistake) and I will look over it and give some feedback for you!

DISCLAIMER! I am not a professional coach so don’t expect me to fix everything for you. Also, this is for guidance only, my words might not be correct and accurate but I will try my best to help you.

as an intermediate player, real beginners (under300) aint about havin questions. i had a time when i was 200 elo. they need to know if their pieces will get caught if they place the move. ( i always made that mistake) you know, maybe feedbacks should be made over 400 elo. Its just my opinion so…

I personally think that anyone who’s under 1200 elo should be considered a beginner, at least from my experience.

Well done on this game! I really don’t know what to say about this as this is basically perfect in practically terms. Apart from engine’s slight disagreement on some moves, they are showing you have an extremely good grasp of what the position demands. My comment is great job 👏
Btw why are you asking for advice from a guy who is lower rated than you 🤣🤣

You know, when u hit 2000 you realize life is all about nonchalantly flexing your rating

First of all don’t move your queen before developing all your pieces(apart from rooks as they can be hard to develop to a meaningful square and often require central breaking, which you don’t need to know yet) in the game you played 4.Qe2, which is useless and only does harm to your position as you want the light-squared bishop out first.

Secondly, don’t move your pieces twice or more in the opening, especially when it doesn’t do anything. In the game, you played 5.Ng5 which makes no sense and only wasted your time. Same for 9.Nb5

The third thing is understand basic openings principles, you don’t need a specific opening to be good, but you will definitely need development, castle the king, play for the centre etc.

You still have a long way to go but enjoy chess however you want!
