I may have done that once or twice, though I dont remember (I learned chess as a teeenager around 40 years ago), but the principle here is super easy ?
The easiest method is keep putting the king in check with every move. Then it can only be checkmate, but never stalemate.
You can also do things like leaving the opponent one single piece they can keep moving around.
Or you could actually think how to most quickly checkmate the opponent.

Do you know what checkmate is and what stalemate is? Even if you think you do, you should look it up and make sure that you are right.
After that, google "ladder mate" on how to mate with 2 rooks (or queens).
