beating bots...or losing rather

Same here, I haven't been able to win a game in the last hours. Used to beat bots up to 1200, now Martin destroys me too. Something is broken.

thank you for the responses. this makes me feel not so bad. suppose it will make me a better player eventually though.

Thought I was going crazy here. Typically play against + win at 1000+, but getting crushed by bots today, all the way down to 250.

There are other threads. https://www.chess.com/forum/view/help-support/chess-bots-on-app-playing-way-above-their-reported-level
In one, a developer said that chess.com was aware of the problem and working on a fix.

Thanks everyone for the reports and apologies for the issue, we are working on this.

Maybe it's buggy on certain platforms. I just played him on Android and he made random moves and hung all his pieces like usual.
Yes, Martin has suddenly became FAR tougher. He's the easiest bot and all of a sudden he's playing with 0 blunders and accuracy over 80%, using forks, etc.
Thank God I found this! I was trying to beat Martin since saturday.. He's not a beginner, no blunders, no errors of any kind and he take advantage of all my mistakes with accuracy over 90%.. I have to admit that this was making me crazy, but it has make me analyze more carefully every move.. good for improving I guess

Same I kept playing and playing martin and getting destroyed but then one day I got checkmate on bots that were level 700 idk it might of been fixed
The Martin bot sounds like a bully. I will lead him into a darkness never encountered by his circuits. And just before he meets his end , he will think back on all the humans , he has beaten. And his regret will have no end. Always remember , one should not _ with us humans.

Remember…us humans are the same people who can program a robot to be smarter than us and not know how we did it.
