The timeframe I gave assumes you do the bare minimum. Learn stuff like the Civilian and the Carol Kane and you can fast track it a bit.
Beginner to Grandmaster

I'm reminded in threads like this of the famous exchange J. P. Morgan had with a person who asked how much his yacht cost. Morgan's reply: "Son, if you have to ask, you can't afford it."
That's kind of like all these threads asking how long it would take them to become a GM. If you're GM material, you already know it. If you have to ask, you ain't ever going to get there.
I think becoming a gm in 10 years it's extremely rare, otherwise every 20+ years old titled player on this site would be a grandmaster...
