Being on tilt

What do you do guys when you're on tilt? I tend to block the players I lose to. It makes me feel way better and it has the added bonus that I will not play them anymore. happy.png

I give my chair a chokeslam when i lose, makes me feel better

It’s a game what’s the big deal if you lose? Have fun with it.
wornaki

No big deal. Losing its just a small frustration. Easily remedied.

you are a toxic loser  if someone beats you they are usally better than you who knew people are better than you! wow! And dont correct my grammar because im 10.

Nothing, absolutelly nothing. It' only game

When I'm on tilt I play bullet to corrupt my soul a little more. At least playing a bunch of moves after another relieves my stress.

plus you say you dont play seriously so why do you care of is that a tatic to say you dont try and that's why you lost

Stop hitting new game, analyze these losing games, and if you have to play, do so against a high rated computer that you expect to always win. Come back fresh after a good night's sleep. Your brain makes connections and organizes your information while you sleep--especially if you have been able to identify what your mistakes were.

Whenever you lose a game stop playing and analyse it first to learn from youir mistake while the imprint is still fresh and to avoid mental tilt.

LOL, a guy that says I'm a toxic loser is... a toxic poster. So cliché... Anything new? No? Oh well...

Typically I would do that if i took my games here seriously. In other websites, I do it. I guess I'm tired of my opponents always finding the right moves. *shrugs* I need more "stupid" opponents. The idea is to play careless quick chess and win a lot of games. That's the only reason I have to play here.

SlowGoldberg

I feel you. Its annoying to always concentrate or lose.

The sheer volume of cheaters has thrown the lower ratings into chaos. A 500 on this site is more like a 1000 on lichess. Not that the fault lies with chess.com. I was looking at chess videos the other day and ran across a thumbnail for "How To Cheat At Chess.com". That was such a terrible thing to see. How can a site even function with so many people trying to break it? But then again this is a time when there's a massive *legitimate* interest in chess, so cutting your teeth in this era could make you into a formidable opponent.

That's chess.

Punch a nearby object, swear, if it goes on for long enough I might cry.

Pathetic, I know, but I’m doing it less nowadays.

nope lichess starts at 1500 chess.com used to start at 1200 so in the end it ended up at about a 300-500 difference until you reach either the highest or lowest ends of that spectrum.

Not thinking of provisional ratings, ninjaswat. Thinking rather of how one ends up when the dust settles. Here a 500 does indeed work out to around 1000 on lichess.

jurriennich

lots of talk about cheaters here but honestly ive only ever come across like 1. they are kinda rare.

Rapt25

So true that there is a difference in the ratings between chess.com and other sites. Now as regards to cheaters chess.com is trying so hard to remove them cause I once played a cheater and few minutes later his account was blocked not because I reported but I think Chess.com picked it up that the person was cheating cause they played 99,2% accuracy which was like crazy given that we below 1200
