Bot player difficulty questions

Hello great chess community! I am learning my way into this impressive cohort and have a few questions about computer character players.

First, I am surprised to find very little discussion in the forums for the Bots which are clearly fun and impressive in how much work must have been involved developing them.

Second, do Bots stay the same in their difficulty? I have beat all through Vinh (1300) with no hints (aka challenge level). I have played several again after what feels like improvement on my side and find Jade and a couple others m very difficult. Have I gotten worse or have the engines that drive the players changed? The difference from a few weeks ago seems notable.

Third, good in all of you top players out there for sharing knowledge and building the community!

Also, I know Bots have inflated ratings...so I don’t pretend to think I’m at the 1000+ level at all. It’s more about wondering why players I’ve beat seam notably harder after going back to okay then after a few weeks.
