Bots improperly rated?

I’m a bit confused. I can beat most of the bots up to those rated 1200. Yet “real” players ranked in the high 800s destroy me. What’s happening??

It is not easy to accurately represent a weaker human player with a weakened engine. So yes, their ratings should be taken with a grain of salt.

I can beat the 1600 bot whenever I was 1100

It’s just because of inflation or something when chess.com adds more elo to everyone’s ranking
