You can connect your account to a gmail, facebook, or apple account. That way if you ever log out you can use it to log back in.

Hi, I was wondering if somebody could help me out.
I want to change my Chess.com username, the issue that I have is that I cannot remember my password for the life of me. Now, I have read that I may not be able to change my password if my email settings aren't correct. Is anybody able to talk me through this process, please?
I'm terrified that if I log out to change my password and it doesn't work then I lose all my progress from when I started in August. I know my rating isn't great but it is what it is, and I don't wish to start again form the beginning. Is anybody able to help out a clueless person?!
