I've been puzzling every day. trying to learn theory. just legitimately trying to get better, but every game I play feels like I'm just trapping my own pieces and ruining my rating. I really don't know what to do honestly. I'm getting whooped on by 500-700 rated players, who aren't making mistakes. meanwhile every move I make is a mistake. I don't think I'm cut out for this game.
If you're having trouble, and aren't enjoying yourself, don't play rated. Not worth stressing yourself out. Do puzzles and play unrated games.

No matter how many times people say, stop playing blitz and bullet, you ignore it and wonder why nothing changes.
Here is the answer: nothing changes, because you ignore the advice and change nothing.
It is that simple.
It hard to learn... But how did i get from 600 to 800 in a month? I only played against bots a lot and whatever, I don't recommend playing bots. Idk where my skills developed :|
I somehow improved a lot in a month.
