I think you mean that you are wondering about why someone other than the 2 chess players keeps making a first move on the board? That's just a publicity thing, like the ceremonial first pitch in baseball. Happens in all tournaments, but a bit too much in the match if you ask me. The player with white can just take the move back and play what they want.
Can anyone simply explain why or how someone make first move for the players?
